Hello, I've revived Rithiur's RuneScape Hall fansite.

Since it stopped updating in December 2001, it's still useful for Sundae. Particularly the mining maps.

Thanks to Rithiur for generously sharing the backups.

Very awesome of them to keep all the backups this whole time and super cool seeing it alive again!

Very cool site. Never heard of it or the owner before but they seem to be a fellow finnish.

Thanks so much for sharing this. I love looking at old fansites, especially the screenshots. Something that's hard to get a feeling for (since I didn't play when RSC was the main game) is just how crowded everything must have been.

Also, shoutout to RSN 8years old for being the first ever ironman (Guides -> RuneScape Tips)
8years old: - Don't trade with anybody{thats what i do}

I also just noticed Salmoneous posted on the Tips page. Used to love Sal's Realm back in the day.

I thoroughly enjoyed the “Guide to Talking”, and I vote we normalize using “rotflmaopmp”. Truly this is the highest form of expressing laughter online.

This site is gold rofl

I just read this in the mining guide -

“Gems:
Gems can be founded from every rock, because every rock has a change of finding a gem in it. If you are mining for gems, you should mine at barbarian mines, because I have heard that they have increased chance of finding gems.”

Surely that isn’t the case.. is it? Would be really interesting if that was true!

This might be related to the belief that coal rocks has more chances to get gems, and Barbarian village has only coal rocks. I don't remember this rumour myself but heard Stormy mention about it once and it sounds pretty legit. Except its not :(

I totally believed coal had a higher rate for diamonds because diamonds and coal are both carbon. It's totally fake - all rocks have the same rate for gems! So the most efficient way to get gems might be to mine tin.
