Dark Wizards

I have been spending a lot of time killing dark wizards in the wilderness lately and I have noticed a couple of odd things.

One of the level 25 dark wizards is actually a level 13 dark wizard with XP, drops, HP
One (or maybe two) of the level 13 dark wizards is actually level 25 dark wizards

Another thing I have noticed is that the drop table for both wizards (13 and 25) are exactly the same as the RSC wiki, except the level 25 dark wizards lack the 3 chaos rune drop (and blood rune drop of course).

Now I am not sure if these are bugs, or maybe it was just like that in 2001? Just thought I'd report it.

It's actually a problem with the rsc-c "diversify npcs" option - which I've already fixed: https://github.com/2003scape/rsc-c/pull/234

The fix just hasn't been pulled into Stormy's fork of the client for Sundae, yet :)

'till then you can just disable the option to work around it

Ah interesting! What about the chaos rune drops??

Nice catch. The blood-rune drop is replaced by a wizard's hat, because that's what the F2P servers do.
