Caged lesser demon in wizard's tower stuck

The lesser demon seems to be stuck in the corner, it only moved a bit when I tried to cast combat spells on it but only turns to face the player. Trying to cast a strike/bolt/blast spell just results in the game message "You can't get a clear shot from here" no matter what tile you stand on in the room.

Unfortunately it's pretty accurate to the original that the lesser demon is hard to mage, which most other private servers don't capture. In particular candlesticks block projectiles.

Rats, foiled again! lol. I do really appreciate the focus on keeping it accurate though. I'm learning quite a bit about this period of runescape that I never picked up from the original servers c. 2016-2018 and openrsc. I was hoping to get a rune helm from there but luckily I was able to get a rune large from Rin! I've got port sarim jail range/mage training down to a science at this point too :P
