Just a small update today. angel



After a lot of clicking over the last couple of weeks, it is done, 99 fishing!

Interestingly, and unintentionally, I achieved this 99 today on December 10, 2024 which is the date of the game version this server is based on, only it's 23 years later! I thought that was kind of neat.

It's a bit funny to say considering the activity itself is nothing more than clicking the same spot over and over but I enjoyed training up fishing. Maybe it's more accurate to say that I enjoyed all the TV shows and movies I was able to watch while training it but I'll leave that up for debate. lol

That aside I did get a few other smaller levels in between.

82-85 magic, superheating and alching as well as some fire striking here and there, nothing too exciting.

68-70 smithing, gold bars pretty much the entire way, most of them are still in the bank for the purpose of being made into necklaces in the future when I need some quick gp.

74-75 mining, mostly gold ore that I made into the aforementioned gold bars.

With 99 fishing completed my goal for now is to get from 70 to 80 ranged via Count Draynor which is a very relaxing method and will be a nice break from all the clicking that comes with fishing so I'm looking forward to it. Beyond that, to be determined!

Just a small update, huh!? Massive congrats on getting the first 99 Fishing! The date coincidence is so wholesome, I love it. I expect 80 ranged will feel a lot faster and easier than Fishing did. Best of luck, just don't DC! And don't forget the garlic

Thanks all, I appreciate the warm messages. On that note I hope everyone is having a happy holiday season and a merry whatever you celebrate and, if nothing else, at least enjoying a couple or a few extra days off. Beyond that, I hope everyone has a happy new year and a fulfilling year.

Aside from seasonal greetings and the like I also wanted to post a little update on the stuff I've been up to in-game.



The most noteworthy achievement this time around is hitting 100 combat level. This was made possible by spending a lot of time at giants recently which is how I went from 40-58 prayer along with some melee and hits levels and 1 magic level.

Before setting up camp at giants I did spend a bit of time at Count Draynor getting 70-86 ranged which is a very easy and afk friendly method and a nice break from all the clicking that came with training fishing.

The current goal is to get 60 prayer and go from there. I don't have a clear path after that but I'm considering things like level 90 in melee stats, 90 ranged, 70 prayer, or 70 crafting. It might be a blend of those, bouncing back and forth to mix things up or maybe something else entirely. Sometimes I like to leave things open to avoid the pressure of setting specific goals and not meeting them, or something like that, we will see!

Hello everyone, it's been a while, almost 6 months! It doesn't feel that long but time really flies when life gets busy, though I've managed to make my way back to RSC once again.



I completed 60 prayer and 90 ranged before I took a break, back in late December or early January approximately, staying at giants for prayer and going back to Count Draynor for mostly afk ranged training.

Since returning I've been taking it easy at darkwizards, making it to 90 in melee stats and hits. I don't have any plans in particular but it seems like maxing melee stats and hits might be the way to go at this point but we'll see how it goes. For now I would like to keep doing what I'm doing while I enjoy it and see how far that takes me.

Also, in case anyone is curious or just for the record, I visited greater demons when I had 89 in melee stats with a full inventory of swordfish and I was able to get about 60 kills using melee only with a rune long sword and full rune armor except for an addy kite shield. I think it's not too bad if you don't mind the walk and stocking up a bit on food but for those who prefer much longer trips you would probably want to stock up on runes and/or arrows and use a safe spot instead.

Finally, I want to say it's nice and a little encouraging to see new and old players alike either getting going or still going and making progress on the server after checking in from a six month hiatus, it never gets old seeing the chat box fill up from time to time.

Given my recent absence I wouldn't want to make any promises on when the next post or level up is coming but I'm glad to be back at least for the moment and I hope everyone else is doing well too, see you next time!

Hello to everyone in our small community, time for another little update!

In my last update I mentioned potentially maxing my melee and hits stats and, as loosely promised, it is finally done today.



As for what is next, I'm not sure myself, I think I will take it easy for a little while and see what catches my eye. At the very least, for now, dark wizards can rest easy until the next mass extinction event.
